Beautiful sunny ten degrees this morning, postal lady beats on the door. It is a box for me. Anonymously labeled. No card. No note or letter. Inside I find through the bubble wrap a new Buell Hydration Pack and a fresh new bottle of vibrantly clear stuff labeled "West Virginia Moon Shine"(legally bottled and stamped kind). This stuff has to be good, it has had me laughing and feeling warm inside all day.......and I haven't even opened it yet!   Though there is no return address or card, I do have an idea who in WV would do such a cool thing. Thanks, you made my day.(and a real good chance at another one in my near future!). For some of us self-employed folks this past year has been a rough one. A couple of the bright spots have been with you all at MBV, WV Buell Rally, and or Buelltoberfest. THANK YOU! And, I had the good fortune of being able to squeeze enough out of my business to take some of my children and grandchildren to see and hear Trans Siberian Orchestra this evening. It was great to see their faces light up as the concert went on. A toast to my anonymous friend, and the best of a great Holiday Season to all in Buell-land! I hope you all get to have at least one day this year as great as this one has been for me.  | ||

For anybody that didn't know it had to do with ride fast, fall off, limp back. Wolfridgerider and I met at MBIV in the campground, then for the second time on the way to Homecoming 24. We set up our accommodations and ride through meeting here on BadWeB. During a hot lap test ride on Road America's go-cart track, we literally test rode a couple of Buells into the ground. We then got to tour the infield hospital and spend our last evening together making a memorable night of suffering. We have since met at several Buell events and I am sure we will meet again relatively soon. Just guessing.....not to offend.....I think my special package came from someone else though. But I could be wrong. | ||
