Trying to get organized and use part of my 30G Video iPod as a portable hard drive Specific question - I think I should be able to save .pdf files and be able to see them as part of my photos on the iPod. I have clicked the "enable use as hard drive box" in I tunes Can you save pdf files to an ipod and what do you do to help you find them? Can you save other documents like word files? Thanks |

YEs you can save any thing you want on the ipod as a harddrive. for the question of being able to see the pdf files i doubt it. i have tried that myself and couldnt see them. if you have different luck let me know. |

a friend at I know bypasses the school network/intranet using a linux program on his ipod so he can surf the web freely where the school network would block it |

The application 'file magnet' is a few bucks from the itunes store - works well for me. Reads word docs and stuff too. |
