ROFLMAO, Dawg . . . . . . MaDuece took a back seat to . . . . . I guess it took a back seat to life in general (most all good things, I am truely the luckiest of men) . . . . . The Duece will be dusted off and witness many spinning wrenches after the Model A -- got a hard stop on that project, as it needs to be done for my neice's wedding next September. I do NOT wish to cross the bride to be, no sir! |

Now that there is both funny, and likely accurate at the same time. Man is definately a political animal -- and, yet, survives in spite of this unfortunate attribute. Go figure. ;-} |

Well, that'd be the last governor, and he's still in jail. You'd think there would have been a lesson learned, but apparently not. |

exactly. that's why people need to give the "the dem's are this, obama is that", and even though I totally disagree with pretty much everything the republican party stands for, "the repub's are @*^$#&*(" a frickin' rest. A crook is a crook, no matter what party they belong to. Again, I've said it a million times, people are just plain greedy. |

WE're trying to get a cost reduction program throuhg the House here in Illinois -- Sell the Governor's Mansion (gotta be worth some big bucks!), and send the newly elected governor straight to the federal pockey -- save lots of money, time, and effort. Wish us luck! |

I can't remember who said it, it may have been Mark Twain, but I remember reading a quote to the effect that anyone who would seek high political office should be automatically disbarred from it for that very reason. Seems solid sense to me. I've met the odd politician over the years, & always counted my fingers after shaking hands with em, the looks you get doing it are priceless. |
