for the best. Bought a 46 inch Toshiba TV 11 months ago. One of the LCD panels went out on it 10 days ago. The store that i bought it from couldn't repair because the part is back ordered. The store I bought it from (American TV) submitted a return of the product. It took a week to get the approval but well worth it. I returned the TV to the store and got my total refund of 2200.00 towards a new TV. I picked a Samsung 52 inch. I added a couple hundred got a free Samsung Blueray and a 5 year in home service plan. I'm watching Iron Man right now and this thing blows away my old Toshiba. |

Am I the only one with a 13" black and white? Look . . . I broke down last year and bought a VCR and a microwave. |

I had a similar thought. In the 1980s I had a 4 inch black and white TV in Korea. There were two channels but I always found something good to watch. Today my family has multiple large screen TVs and 100s of channels - yet I rarely find something worthwhile. |

I don't watch tv at home since I had my roof replace three years ago and I didn't put the new antenna back up. I don't even miss it since there isn't anything good on the tube anymore! |

Zip, thats only if you use rabbit ear antennas. If you have cable you are good. If not you can get the digital box cheap, its freaking nice. Crisp picture, and interactive TV guide over the air |

Samsung is the best. I myself have a 52' LCD Samsung 750. It broke the bank, but was well worth it. |

Great to hear Boney. After buying a TV in August the recent prices make me sick! Would a Wii controller help me use my replacement plan for a new TV? |

TVs and 100s of channels - yet I rarely find something worthwhile. Time for Tivo... Of course you could go all out (like I did) and upgrade to a 1TB drive. 1100+ hours of TV is waiting for me back home |

You own a TV? Yes. A black Zenith and a white Sony. They are both 13". Are you suggesting I don't need the rabbit ears? |

Are you suggesting I don't need the rabbit ears? I was suggesting you don't need one at all. Everything goes to HD in 3 months, so mine will all quite working. Given that I haven't turned them on since the kids moved away in Aug, I doubt I'll be in any hurry to remedy that. |
