Hey anyone got an idea on how to attach a buell patch to riding jacket without sewing it on, I don't think i want any iron on ideas as this jacket is a polyester mesh and will melt with heat! |

Use that rubber glue with an identical sized patch of denim or something on the inside of the mesh, maybe? |

If you decide to go the Taylor route I would suggest want visiting a boot repair shop. I have used one locally for jacket repairs with good results. They can also install snap type buttons that no one else seems to be able to. They might even have an adhesive for you to install your patch. |

The correct way will be for them to undo some of your inner liner to get the machine through.. Sew on the patch.. Resew the passage in the liner (Message edited by teddagreek on November 27, 2008) |

Gorilla glue would do it, MAKE SURE to read the directions FIRST! Reading the instructions later will only lead to regrets. Happy Thanksgiving I am thankful for Gorilla Glue |

Preybird, With it being a mesh jacket, just about any sports apparel shop or embroidery shop should be able to attach them for you. The liner shouldn't be that hard to open up. I wouldn't try to glue it. It won't adhere to the mesh well. |

I used Stick & Seal by Loctite. I have glued a few patches with the stuff and it works great. http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?produ ctId=1793239 |

Find a good seamstress. One of my co-workers wife is very good. I lost a few pounds this year, and she sewed on 5 belt loops on my favorite summer pants for $20. Jackets are a bit harder to work on. Hard to find a hole big enough to work with between the mesh and layer, especially up front. But she found it, and sewed on my patch for $10. Time to get her to sew on a patch. |

I found fabric bonder that i think will work. My mom was a damn good seamstress before she died, I would have here do it, She has done allot of my motorcycle seats as well as cars boats you name it. I will post my results when i get the patch on. |

Jim, I'll say. Scotty J asked me how I got my patch during a break. I'm from NC with the worst twang. All I said was"got it from Shawn with a swap". I love the patch. Pat and I made a trip earlier this year to upstate NY and lower MA. By far, our most enjoyable trip to this day. |

If you're gonna remove it, wouldn't stitching be best. |

Damnut How can I get one the NEBO patches for my collection? After all, once a New Englander always a New Englander. (Can't shake the accent) It is wicked cool. |

Check with the NEBO group. We did a group buy and I already gave most of mine away. I only have 1 or 2 left, I think someone else in the group may have an extra. |
