I thought you were going to say Geronimo or something. Since they lost their last home game before the presidential election, I guess that means the incumbent party will lose the White House. I know it didn't happen in 04 but it usually works. (Message edited by cobra on November 04, 2008) |

I find the national trend away from gridiron, and toward "soccer" to be disturbing. When kids are indoctrinated into a sport that disallow most hand use, it discourages an important function in cerebral development, which may lead to dissociation and decreased imaginative aptitude. Gridiron football and baseball, both employing the arms/hands as well as legs/feet, tend to encourage more complex and overall cerebral development |

Any sport the kids will be interested in is good for them in my book. I played soccer as a kid and my hands work just fine. My head on the other hand.... |

>>Gridiron football and baseball, both employing the arms/hands as well as legs/feet, tend to encourage more complex and overall cerebral development<< No way Jose. Using your feet like hands requires a lot more skill than just using your hands. |

But I do agree that American football at the highest level requires more brainpower. |
