how about a bookend run in the spring when we all have cabin fever, same outline of events?? Mike, exactly what I was thinking... But, I think use NEBO guys should host that one. Open the season with us in the spring..and close it down with ya'll.... Have no clue on any prospective areas or routes though... Rte 2 can be fun, with some views...but... I dunno.. I will do a bit of digging... Chase |

Chase- the Springtime run ("Last of the Mohicans Run")is something we've kicked around for years, and have not yet implemented. Anyone is welcome to host any run they wish to, I'll certainly be there- It would seem that, given the likelihood of our beloved mini-dragon (rt. 218) being open, in the Spring, combined with a run over to the Hawks' Nest, and onward to 44/55 around Mohonk, etc., we could have a great, easy-for-all to reach run. One of the beauties of the Hudson Valley is its proximity to both the mid-Atlantic and New England, maikng it a central region for Buellers from near and far in many directions. |

Hey Doz, you have some wild-looking crazy green horns growing from your head in that picture. How do you fit that in your helmet? Tramp, I would post my pics if I could figure out how to shrink them. |

I cut through Harriman park today on the way home. Arden Valley road was a complete mess. Couldn't even see the pavement through all the wet leaves and branches. Never would have made it on the bike. We got the run in just in time. Hey Hammer, did you find out what that leak was? |

Reading all the posts really kills me for not being able to make the Run. I was on a train to NYC and as it passed the Bear Mt Bridge Sunday am, I couldn't help but to envy you folks. From the Peekskill station I could see the Tower on top of Perkins....well at least those who showed had a great time. I will be damn sure to make it next year. I guess I'll be the HH odd year runner - 1st, 3rd, and after a years wait - 5th http://gomoroadstories.blogspot.com http://www.skilledrider.net |
