I'm looking at getting a custom bass made and was wondering if someone would like to re-colour one of these pics to the colour scheme I'm thinking of? It will be similar to this '51 Precision Bass, but I'd like a white body instead of blonde, and a really dark blue scratch plate (instead of black):  Or the reverse of this pic, but with a darker blue:  Cheers, chili | ||

Thanks Sleez!!!!!!! That last one with the dark blue is kind of what I'm after, and it has the kind of look I'm after - old shape, modern colours. If/when I get it made I might get the scratchplate dark blue, fading to black at the edges, which is kind of the reverse of normal - usually the body has the sunburst pattern and the scratchplate is a solid colour. Xl - yeah the light blue one is nice, isn't it? Tasty and classy at the same time. |
