if any of you need to borrow a tent, i have two extra's here. a small one person travel tent and a very large two room unit, i can set these up in the field if anyone has trouble carrying theirs on their bike. |

Mike- You bring up an excellent point- Perhaps we locals can ask around to scrounge up some old tents to add to your Gypsy carnival/Gogol Bordello. |

If any of you have the Buell 25 year book, bring a copy for Court to sign, we'll have a table set up with coffee, donuts, and a pen for Mr. Canfield. |

Saintly, Froggy, and I did a dry run of the Sunday route today. The roads are spectacular, let's hope the weather is as beautiful as it's been. The Sunday route will be about 160 miles as it winds its way through Putnam, Rockland, Orange and (briefly)Westchester Counties. I just finished programming my GPS, so that will give anyone following me only a %50 chance of getting lost. Speaking of weather, since this is a rain or shine event, don't forget to pack your rain gear (just in case), The temps have also been a little on the cool side, so bring extra layers or your electrics. |

Rain gear? You mean the plastic zip lock baggies to put over my camera, gps, computer, xm radio and cell phone? |

Today is nuts for me, but a great day to run a route- The "Hammer's Choice" route will undoubtedly be kickass, I have this suspicion that it may even include another river valley altogether We have an abbreviated website back up, at the old address: www.horsemanrun.us |

The "good news" is that the roads in the Northern Jersey, CT and Bear Mountain area are spectacular. |

I'm sitting on the Hudson River Valley right now (at West Point for a program I'm running) - the scenery is spectacular! Not quite peak week along the river, so I'm thinkin' next weekend will be prime colours! P.S. Send me any pictures you have from past runs that you want posted on the website. zgirlwebdesign@yahoo.com |
