However, I have determined that a Convertible Saab 900SE has excellent: 1. Traction Control System 2. Anti-Lock Brakes 3. Got to Love Heated Seats 4. Heater that can put a Nuclear Reactor to Shame Too bad she is going into storage later this week with the S1. They can keep each other company for the winter!!!! |

We've got snow in Minneapolis too! The lawns are white. So far, the roads have been mostly just wet. |

Winter does not officially start until December 22, which appropropriately enough is on a Monday. So, until then, it is not allowed to proclaim "Winter sucks". If you already are having signs of cabin fever then I'd suggest you head over to monster.com and your favorite airline site and begin relocation to warmer/drier climates. "Autumn sucks" is fine, "Fall sucks" is fine, "snow sucks" is fine, "hail and freezing rain and ice storms all suck" is fine, but "winter sucks" can't officially begin until December 22nd. Okay then, carry on.

Hmm, it's too far south to be Winter. Ever. I come from Alaska and Winter starts about mid September up there. I lived in Minneapolis for 6 years too and I just don't see what the big deal is even there... then again, I used to ride an IT-250 all through the winter in Alaska with only a chicago style biker jacket and Levi's... And a helmet too... Anyway, Prescott AZ right now and an XB12R headed in on a truck from Iowa... Life is good . |

So, why do Alaskans, per capita, ride more motorcycles (and eat more ice cream) than the rest of the country? |

M2Me, I don't care if there is snow on the ground or not, I'm riding into work tomorrow. If not, for sure on Thursday. I'm doing it just to spite the Gods. I've ridin in November and December for the last three years. I'm not stopping now! Well,,, maybe if there is snow on the roads...... I figure I'll ride the S2, at least there is a bit of a fairing.... Brad Oh yeah,,,,Winter sucks! |

The last time I fell down was in a surprise snow storm that was just starting as I left work. I made it to within 2 blocks of home when the bike slid out. The fall ate my Banke shifter, the left bar end, the clutch lever and bent the handlebars. I hate winter, and I try to not ride in the snow. I don't like falling down. And I don't care what the calendar says, if it's snowing, it's winter. |

Greetings from San Diego. Won't tell you what the weather is like today cuz you'll only get weepy. Obviously, snow is not a problem round here, although I did have to ride through a column of smoke from the wildfires last week while commuting to work on my S3T. Had to smoke a Marlboro to clear my lungs out. |
Whatever

I would settle for snow right now... had to chip two inches of ice off of my car this morning...spent the last four hours outside working in the freezing drizzle... sheeesh what the heck is up with that?

BluzM2, You'd better check the forecast. It's supposed to be really cold the next few days. It's going to be barely over 30 degrees for the high. I rode a little bit on Sunday and it was about 40 degrees. That was way too cold for me. |

John, Yeah, I just saw that.... bummer. I'm not afraid of riding in the cold, I've ventured out in 17 deg before. Wasn't really pleasant but I did get bragging rights! I may not be able to do it anyway, I think I sprained my left ankle at hockey practice tonight. Not sure how, I must have turned wrong. I could barely hobble around after I got my skate off.

Brad- Shouldn't you wait for the lakes to freeze before you try and play hockey on them? Oh, that's right, you sissy Minesotans have that indoor stuff. |

Sissy Shmisshy! We just like to play year round! Besides, the lakes are for boating in the summer and ice racing in the winter! The studs chew it up too much for hockey
