Send heads to good performance shop for refurbishing, repair, and mild porting. Have cylinders re-honed by same. Re-assemble with new gaskets, rings, and cleaned pistons. Ride and enjoy. |

I had water bottles in the ammo pouches on the fork tubes, wrapped in some wetted fabric. Was trying for the whole Aerostich evap-a-wrappa thing. Didn't get to test it much though. My original idea was to have a bandolier type thing around the tank, with six ammo pouches. They hold a six pack of, er, beverage cans pretty well, or bottles the size of a Scottish brown ale. Ziptab... You know, I had a feeling other Buell owners were going to be there at the vintage races, but I parked in a funky spot and missed everybody. The grenade... that's the security system. |

Is that the same M2 that went up Mt. Washington with us on that ATC ride a few years ago? |

And I thought my bike was dirty and rough. Nice job, great details down to the handgrenade Keep her, fix her, ride her, you will only regret anything short of that for the rest of your life. |

I did go on an ATC ride, but I think the bike was still Molten Orange, and the Auto Road was closed that day. |

Bored, Have given any thought to getting some flat black paint and getting rid of all that nasty shiny stuff around the ignition? |

Hey, I remember seeing that bike at the Demo days last year in Meredith, NH. I remember going "WTF IS THAT!!!" I ride with some guys that have bikes "modded" like yours. One guys BMW has a horse saddle for a seat, and until recent never had a sidestand. Always had to lean it against a tree. He found a bicycle sidestand at a yard sale and bolted it on.
