Im wanting new boots and am curious to know what Buellers think of these. Looks like the thickness of the toe would be cumbersome in shifting and rigidity of the ankle would prohibit movement.

Thanks.

My experience with Icon products hasn't been the best. The quality has been marginal at best, they seem to have pretty good support, though. Seems like they go more for form than function. JMHO.

Shifting is no problem.
Ankle rigidity is.
The boots are big and stiff.
I cut all the straps off so they are more like combat boots.
Although they do break in a little if comfort is what you are seeking for you should look elsewhere.
If cool is what you are after you found it.

Boots... I love boots. The booty-er, the better, I say.

If you like those boots, get them... I don't like them, though. They aren't 'booty' enough for my boot taste.

Thanks for the input.
They look cool, but that isnt gonna mean squat if they breakdown fast, or hurt the feet.

Mine would have to be a size 15, mind you...and I can rest my current boots on BOTH sets of pegs at the same time.

The booty-er the better, huh?

I've got those, but the chukka style (basically, the hiking boot version). I love 'em. I did have to adjust my shifter a bit though... it's no fun getting your foot wedged when you're trying to stop!

They're great choices when you're going somewhere and don't want to take a change of shoes... best padding of ANY shoe I've ever bought. When I wear these, I use the Field Armor knee/shin guards as well.
