We have Dikes on Bikes, and they attend all the local summer parades. It is NOT the same. However there was a guy that did full frontal on a unicycle that was banned from several events. So theres your equal opportunity discrimination. I bet he does feel demeaned, hell they took one of his wheels  | ||

LOL, my town's not big enough to register on the event radar. I think something like this would be a hoot though. I'm sure most would be about 100 lbs overweight and in their 50's, but I wouldn't care. If you're carefree enough to do it, I say more power to 'ya. What the protesters don't seem to get is that some women obviously enjoy being "objectified", and it's their right to be so. I like boobs as much as the next guy, these types of events are just dumb. The ONLY reason these folks do this is for the public specticle and attention. Force them to do it in the boonies and you'd have no participants. Rights are a funny thing. You have as much of a right to ride topless as I have to not have you riding topless near me or my kids. Your rights end where mine begin. You have the right to put a car up on blocks in your front yard. I, conversely, have a right not to live next to someone with a car up on blocks in their front yard. Your freedom directly affects me. It's the same result as the "Is it our fault?" Thread. The few, by exercizing their individual right to ride like retards, affect the rest in how we are viewed by the public and how the laws are created and inforced. Riding topless in the seclusion of your own pack yard isn't an infringement of your rights but is an act of responsibilty to preserve the rights of everyone else. | ||

Now if you made the argument that public displays of nudity and sexual acts are a component in decreasing personal worth and the value of human life, I'd say you were closer to the truth. When an 18 year old girl poses for GGW, she decreases her own perception of her personal worth. I doubt that she is going to be very proud of that work 15-20 years from now when her son's friends break that out and look at it. If you watched this girl in the GGW videos and then saw her out at a party or a bar, would you expect her to be more likely or less likely to show you her "stuff". Would you interract with her in an expectant manner assuming that she will eventually give it up? What if she says no? What if she isn't diggin' your chili? Do you treat her poorly because she failed to fulfill your expectations? If you watch enough GGW or whatever, would you come to an expectation of how women act or what is expected? Would it change how you treated women based upon that expectation? I'm not trying to be a prude. Just offering an alternate viewpoint. Why are blowjobs among our highschool girls as common as a goodnight kiss used to be? Why is there an endless parade of women entering the amature porn business? Why are there a record number of viewers! Why is personal worth and the value of human life at one of the lowest points in modern history? Why would a gang banger have absolutely no problem killing you over a dollar or for your shoes? Why would anyone feel that the "rights" of animals superceed the rights of humans? It isn't a single booby that brings down the moral component of society. It's what comes next when the booby is no longer sufficient to bring the shock value that the booby previously had. It's the expectation of others toward the individuals willing to go to the next level to become the spectacle. What comes next after Paris Hilton and Britney Spears? (Sorry for the spelling issues.
