Today CorporateMonkey Jamie and I left the neighborhood and Seattle and headed over Steven's Pass and into Eastern WA. Gadzooks, the temps were in the 90's and beyond! We rode for over 300 miles.

The Buell and the Guzzi ran great, both getting over 50mpg for the trip. The Buell fan sure worked overtime in the hot weather.

It was fun looking at the new hogs and Buells in the air-conditioned lobby of Legend HD/Buell/Suzuki/etc in Wenatchee.

Jamie was very patient waiting for this old man to catch up, although my pace might have kept us from getting pulled over by some nicely disguised state troopers.

The Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth:

Is that a new Michelin compound or are the tires squared off?

Over 1150 miles in the first 2 weeks. It took me 4 months to do that on my XB9S. Summer riding weather sure helps!

I was looking at my mate's MV F4, & bearing in mind Tramp's system of who built what when first etc, I said to him,
" That's just a european take on a japanese copy of a German idea which was stolen from an American engineer at Henderson while he was asleep"

My dental appointment is tomorrow!

That Victoria looks like it has knobs for cylinders.
