Up here in Oregon we only have 3 dealers in the state. I went by Paradise in Tigard the other day and they had exactly ZERO Buells. There were a few parked out front that were either customers or workers, but none for sale. The girl working there said they have been out since June. She said she hoped to have more by September. 4 months without selling a Buell? Is that what we need in our dealers? I am happy on my Uly, and just wanted to see the 1125CR, but anyone interested in buying one would not have been able too. Is this a problem with the dealer, or with Buell distributing bikes? |

CRs wont be out until late september, and that is only at max two months away. Drive north, we are stealing them from across the nation to meet our local demand, we had a shipment of 9 come in, 6 are gone, next shipment will be here in 2 weeks. Besides the ocean via 101 is nice this time of year |

The article I read said the CRs would be out in August, and the new 09 1125Rs would be out in September. Keeping in mind how accurate online articles tend to be, of course... |

I would think it would be the other way around Jaimec, but who knows. Watch, neither will be out til November. All I know is I'm supposed to get a phone call when the 09 1125r's start rolling in. (Message edited by badlionsfan on July 29, 2008) |

Paradise is out of Buells because they sold out their allotment plus some extras. This is as it should be. |

Wow- that's pretty impressive. Who knows, next thing they'll be asking for deposits and having waiting lists for Buell purchasers. |

"Wow- that's pretty impressive. Who knows, next thing they'll be asking for deposits and having waiting lists for Buell purchasers." I wouldn't get to carried away,I know a dealer that still has 06's and there are plenty of dealer on cycletrader with Buells and giving discounts. |

Its as it has always been, you want all the colors, all the selection and the best deals?... buy in the dead of winter. The CR is targeted to arrive to us the last week of September. I will have it when I have it. Burned too much by the FXCWC, 1125R and the dirt bike no show to ever give a floor date for anything. And we are stealing as many of those sitting and floored units as we can, the last shipment came from W Virginia. |

Maybe they need to add another shift to keep up with demand.. When you don't have product on the floor and the other dealer does guess who wins.. |

Psst maybe we could get another Blast before December ! Otherwise, we will have to keep stealing them from our local competitors, or buying them from across the country. |

Buy from Latus and skip Paradise. You'll be much happier. Paradise are a bunch of a**holes anyway. Paradise didn't give me a deal and made me sit for over a half an hour while they were in the back "thinking over my offer". I left, I went over to Latus and they were super nice and took the same offer instantly. Better service, better people at Latus. |

Jason over at Latus has a great crew. Several Buellers on staff, way helpful, eager to get you back on the road, and if you have to be at the shop doing warranty work, you never feel like you are at the hospital with a broken leg. Plus if they bring back the Latus pipe, I am on my commute down. |

And just what do you smoke in the Latus pipe to have you bustling down there so quick? |

I would love to rework a Blast pipe to get a thinner profile on the bottom of my bike for improved ground clearance. Their work the the Latus pipe and the dyno, is probably the reason I would go to them to make that mod happen. |

No doubt about it, if you're in the PDX area then Latus should be your Buell dealer. Latus has been a very gracious supporter of our little PBR club this year and has earned customer loyalty. Paradise OTOH has earned contempt after selling me a demo bike at new bike price (we found 175 miles on the odometer when the bike was delivered to our home). After close inspection the bike turned out to be crashed. No response or effort to make good on the deal. Avoid Paradise H-D. |
