So as I am reading about the new Yamaha R1 look what I see in the tail pipe.  It doesn't redirect the exhaust like the XB12 system, but does regulate the back presure for a wider power band. edited by koz5150 on October 08, 2003 | ||

isn't that their EXUP system? been around for a while...Some of the reports on the XB12s refer to the exhaust valve as being like the EXUP, only better... | ||

Thats been around a while dude. But the Buell system is way more efective as the Buell system Where the Buell system changes the length of Pipe used the Yam system just makes the hole smaller or bigger. edited by spiderman on October 08, 2003 |
