I've been a Yankee fan since I was 8 yrs old, had season tix for many years, lots & lots of great memories. My dad took me to my 1st Yankee game in 1968, I remember it like it was last week. Glimpsing the field down the walkway for the 1st time--it was just so GREEN! My Dad passed a few years ago, and soon the stadium will be gone, I'm watching the game feeling very "old". | ||

I made opening day (both of them) this year and the Home Run Derby last night and it was awesome. Never been to Yankee Stadium before and found out they are right . . . "the stadium is the story". Bob . . send me your address and I'll send you the "Souvenir Tribute to Yankee Stadium" from the New York Post Special Edition publication on opening day. I enjoy taking my kids to the games, Got on the Field during Fathers's day last year. I cherish them moments as any Dad would. To see there faces while looking inside the Monster, Sliding on the grass, it is Priceless. Bbbob be glad you had Good Times Together.. | ||

WOW, this has turned into a game!! 2 very close calls.. 1 on Ian Kinser stealing 2nd was called out, the Navarro being out at home my a sweet play from McClouth and Martin.. Either way this game goes(hopefully NL so Cubbies have HF advantage), its going down in history!! | ||

nice... i think pitching(both sides) and NL defense has been the story here though.. if NL wins Tejada got my vote Al, im guessing jd. drew for hitting the 2 run HR.. its not over though.... and usually its the guy who comes through at the end! | ||

well, that does it... 2 innings later and my MVP is correct... still sucks for NL.. I think they are a better league as a team then AL.. Maybe not the best players, but the teams are better.... if ya know what i mean!! Good to see Marmol pitch good, and let hope the Cubs see the World Seris this year!! | ||
