Thanks. I just cried my eyes out in front of my family listening to "Hello In There". There are none better than John Prine at illustrating the human condition. His music touches my soul.

Hard to beat folk music. Period. Hard to beat Texas for their treasure-trove of folk singers. Hard to beat a good day of riding that ends with someone pickin' songs about living on the road.

Some days work sucks more than usual. Good thing we got motorcycles and folk music. ; )

yep- I think folk defines us as a nation and culture.
I never cease to be awed by new, young people who bring talent to the table.

My favourite Prine song, to hear him actually sing, is "fishin' & whistlin'" ( I think I got the title right)

Angel from Montgomery has way to deep of memories and meanings for me to like any other Prine song more, though.

That and Mazzy Starr's big number
