Does anyone know how to retrieve a Window’s XP password? I changed my login password and over the course of moving, a new job, etc I haven’t used my home computer in almost 2 months. I managed to forget my new password. If I restore it to an earlier date, is it going to revert to the previous password? I hope I’m not boned and have to reinstall windows because I haven’t backed up my pictures from Badness…

Try this, start up your computer, and when you get to the logon screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete a few times till you get a box that lets you manually type in a name and password. Try typing the name as Administrator with no password then press enter. Let me know how that goes.
