Where do people stay at this event? Is it still warm down there in Oct.? There is plenty of camping available at TWO, and there are cabins in the area. However, the cabins get booked up pretty quick. There are rooms at TWO as well, but you will need to check on availability.} The weather is great in October. Temps will probably be in the low 80's high 70's. We don't get cold down here usually until the end of November. | ||

"I'll be riding with the Maryville bunch." I partied with the Harley guys from Maryville Sunday night at the last March Badness. Those guys were an absolute blast and had us rolling all night with their stories. Some thru-hikers joined us and we had a real throw down with those kids. I know they will remember that night forever. I hope they made it home alright... they might still be out there. I bet they don't meet up with anyone as cool as we were for the rest of their trek... wink, wink, nudge, nudge. I hope I see every one of those Maryville guys again. They really were LOTS of fun. Tell them I said so if you get a chance... | ||

Maybe we'll even get to RIDE this time. At least we know Autumn here is a lot dryer than Spring. Did we even see rain last year? It always rains some time during March Badness, this year though it did rain damn near the whole time. I'll make both short and long sleeves, and a choice of colors as well. sorry to disappoint, but no demo's at buelltoberfest just ride,eat,drink,sleep,wake up and start again.(or something to that effect) you wonb't be disappointed though. |
