It is about motorycles and I thought it was a good read...

Couple good quotes:
"Wrap all this freedom in a lovely ribbon of performance, and you get what experts call fun. Not the fake hood scoop, chrome wheels and racing stripe school of performance. "

"Have you ever seen two automobile drivers wave to each other because they were driving? For me, waving to a fellow rider is nearly a daily occurrence. The horror, the horror..."

Enjoy

But an even simpler truth about motorcycling keeps me coming back for more: I always feel better after a ride than I did before.

thats the damn truth there

Cornering becomes a symphony of precise movements instead of an awkward wallow, working in harmony with the road instead of fighting it tooth and nail.

That's beautifully said...

I guess you are speaking of Spidy... I know he is busy with the new house, but besides that NO CLUE.

You never see motorcycles parked outside the psychiatrist's office.

black, i could imagine how busy he is now that he has the significant other. after 26 yrs, i try to make up excuses as to why i can't do things. hope he's doing alright though.

jaimec, your pretty much spot on with that statement for the most part. after our dad passed away, 3 of us went off and got back into riding and one just traded up to something better. all within about 3 months of each other. i just know i waited to long to get back into it.

The motorcycle that is parked in front of the dr's office is theirs ; ) I have sold a couple to therapists. Its a niche group that gets the need for escape and has the money to do it. Theres even one ULY in the bunch.

Divorce attorneys work well for me too.

My dad always called riding "therapy".
