The Minnesota Twins won the AL Central! Do you belive in miracles? They were left for dead at the All Star break but have had the best record in the majors since the break, 44-20. I was just kidding. I've heard that Cub fans and White Sox fans mix like oil and water. I'm more of a Wrigley Field fan than Cubs fan. The friendly confines, the ivy covered walls, Babe Ruth's "called shot", all that history and stuff. | ||

Just in case you missed it, the Twins beat the Yankees yesterday! Finally! We're guaranteed two games at the Dome! The Cubs just lost the second game to the Braves but they're headed for Chicago to play two at old Wrigley Field. Harry Carry will be singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame from the grave! Go Twins!!! The Cubs didn't do it...again!!! I'm not even that big of a Cubs fan but I'm just heartbroken. They were up three games to one and still couldn't win it. Plus, the whole thing last night. There is no joy in Wrigleyville tonight. I can't even imagine it.  Tomorrow night's game should be interesting. Clemens-Martinez rematch.
