I was trying to see if that SUV had their turn signal on (it appeared they did, but my eyes aren't that keen any more). Why would you pass at any type of intersection - it's illegal, yes?

If you look at the road sign in that second video, (which the rider obviously failed to do) it shows that the main road makes a 90 degree left turn, while a side street goes off to the "right" (which is actually straight). You can see the double yellow curving around to the left just before the accident.

So the SUV driver was doing the right thing, and the motorcyclist was a jackass.
