I could get a picture like that just about any day of the week. It'd be couple of leadermen, maybe a tech, a project manager, a safety rep, and me standing around watching some guy working on a rudder or valve or something. I'm not above jumping in and help out when I can though. Just today a pipe fitter and dock worker were giving each other crap (not serious just kidding) and the dock guy pointed at me and said "Curtis knows what we do, I've seen him pulling mooring lines." That's one good thing about being non-union. I hated working at a union plant, as an engineer I couldn't do anything but sit at a desk. (Message edited by not_purple_s2 on May 13, 2008) |
