OK, not sure if this should be in KV or not, so if it should forgive me. Does anybody know the Size, Grade, and length of the Kickstand bolt for the 2006 XB9SX? Apparently part 6010106 is on back order and I am not happy to wait until it comes off to ride again. Thanks for all your help. Geeze if I knew I needed this in my spare parts.... notice hole where kickstand should be.  | ||

and ofcourse it doesnt give the specs for that bolt in the back of the parts manual, lol. i just looked. i do know that it has the same thread as the safty torx that hold the ignition swith on my firebolt. dont ask...(it was the only bolts i had laying around that i could find to fit at the time!) | ||

You know they no longer make the replacement bolt for those. They now want to sell you a sidestand kit with the new pin style connector. I have one in stock for an SCG, but not the SX. | ||

Just steal one off another bike at the dealership. J/K. Maybe you could borrow one though to take to a hardware store. | ||

What does the new one look like compared to the old.. Does the new pin fit the old stand or that why they made a kit.. Ace Hardware... | ||

not a standard fastener. but Al had it in stock with the whole assembly.... Gotta love this board. parts on the way, see them monday  | ||

that first one is me, and yes the tech made me wash the chunks off before he would work on it. |
