I just wanted to see if anyone is using the new Shoei Hornet DS for the primary cranium protection. I saw one last week but did have the opportunity to try it on and really like the looks of it. Any input good or bad would be great. It is a little out of the window I was looking to spend but heck I was thinking of getting a cheap moto-x for around town and a nice one for the slab so this would be a too in one. http://www.shoei-helmets.com/road/product_launch_h ornetds.aspx |

I was liking that piece as well. If you do get one, please let us know how it stacks up. |

That's rather smart, I might get a white one to match the TT. |

Ordered one from Japan when Shoei first released the thing a couple of years ago. It was a Euro spec. It was extremely lightweight, but I just don't have a Shoei shaped head. Too much pressure on my forehead/brow area. Gotta be careful turning your head at speeds above 70 mph...that visor/bill catches alot of air. |

Thanks, I dont do to much slab riding so I dont think the highway will be that big of a deal. I like how you can remove the visor if you have to. |
