Well gang, less than 2 weeks before we expect to leave again for another deployment. Time starts moving really quickly at this point so I thought I'd say my "See You Later's" now. The weather is just now starting to get really "good" over here. Sandstorms weekly it seems. I look at it this way, if I wasn't deployed I wouldn't be able to get an excellent discount on a new Buell XBR. Just find the positives in your deployment and you can't go wrong. | ||

Sure thing. I asked all the guys in my team and they really couldn't think of anything. The only thing I could think of for myself would be a couple old motorcycle or car mags. What would probably be the best thing would be a football. Our footballs skin came off of it and the laces broke. We are only here for 3 to 4 more months and one of the guys has care packages come all the time so we're sitting pretty good. We appreciate it. How are you guys set for phone cards? I went through dozens of them trying to keep in touch with my kids. I remember the only ones really worthwhile were from AAFES. At my home base we had SPAWAR satellite phones, but most bases only have the ATT trailer. Bill | ||

Kristi, I have transfered some funds into my paypal account. As soon as they clear (3-5 days) I will send them your way. Care package idea: Why not set up an Amazon wishlist. It is sort of like a wedding registry. With that any badwebber could go onto amazon see what has not been purchased, order it, and have amazon take care of the shipping. It might save you some time/effort. | ||

its so nice to see all of bad web getting to geather to support soldiers like my self. When i was in iraq i got a at least 2 packages from bad web members. 1 was a press release cd from Court and the other was from the Stueve familly (Kandy and daves) they sent all kind of random goodies. so ulywife if I can help in any way let me know because i would like to help support my fellow badwebbers/soldiers. | ||

Corp - I'll let you know when the $$ hits my PayPal Account. I'm at Target several times a month and the post office daily, so it's really no big time issue for me. Firebolt - You can send a package, or contribute money to the ones I'll send from here from BadWebbers.
