From the Discovery HD web site, "Michael Czysz is attempting to manufacture a racing motorcycle unlike any that has ever existed. MotoCzysz's C1 prototype may lead to a revolution in the industry and change the face of American racing, but at what cost?" Looks interesting. I saw a shot of Jeremy McWilliams embracing Czysz in the preview. |

Didn't know that MotoCysz was still in business? Are they still promoting a bike that probably won't go to production. Just checked their website. Been a long time since it was updated..... They haven't really built anything, and no new(relevant) info is available on the website. Wait, wait, there is some thing on the site that can be purchased, you can buy a fancy t-shirt for your 'ol lady (Message edited by vagabond on March 18, 2008) |

Are they still promoting a bike that probably won't go to production. Making a bike from scratch in a well established sport bike market is no easy task. I for one would like to see him make it, if not for the coolness factor then for the Everest factor! Look at Kenny Dreer. Jumped out of the restoring Norton business, spent tons of money to acquire the name, built a few prototypes, got them into Cycleword a few times, then folded just recently. It took some huge hanging huevos to throw away a perfectly good business and chunk of your life to follow your dreams. Some are successful, like Erik Buell. Others do not have a huge level of success but I commend them for getting out there and trying to change the standard a little bit... |

Having seen the documentary, I'm impressed they have done so much with just 3.5 million dollars. If I have any criticism it would be the distraction of plastering the MotoCysz name on anything and everything. |
