I'm getting new skins!
w00t!
Probably go with that new Diablo replacement, or Diablo. I love those tires.
I have enough life left on the Pilot Roads, so I'll set those aside for emergency use, spare...
Ain't nothing better than new tires, and a March Badness to go with them...well there is, but it's a short list.
The hardest part about it all will be keeping the tires "fresh" til the end of March.
If you can, just change tires just before MB. I know a road or two good for scrubbing in new tires.
Hmmm, to go HID or not to go HID... that is the next question.
If I could I would, what's stopping you? With the kind of long distant riding you've done, it seems it'd be a sure thing.

Anyone ever used the old airbox tang to mount a camera?
Yeah and it shook like hell.
Bullet cam is the way to go.
But some of the best video IMHO ain't on the bike, but taping riders in turns and high speed fly bys. On bike cams are all over, a good vid of fly bys and the like are fewer an farther between.
You've seen my favorite.

Yeah, the stationary vid was very cool. I watched it quite a few times.

Ill cross the tang off the list and buy the Bullet next time.

Here is my camera mounted on the left side engine frame:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-188061507 1565967158&q=ulysses+deal%27s+gap&total=4&start=0& num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0

Only shakes when it's near idle.

It's a Canon SD400 still camera.

does TWO have power outlets that will be near the tents?

Not near the tents, they are just in a field. But across in the 'lodge' their are power outlets. Just plug everything you need in while your in for a meal or socializing in the evenings.

Awesome Hammer! Strangely enough, eating pineapple helps reduce swelling and inflammation.

You might try eating some each day for a few days and see if it helps.

I had a girlfriend once who recommended Arnica lotion to help with muscle cramps and stuff- she was a dancer, pretty savvy on this kind of stuff. Arnica is another therapeutic plant- probably found in a health food shop...

Get to healing, Hammer!

Bananas will help with the cramping.

Be careful though, bananas and pineapple in mass quantities together can cause stiffness in your lower back and numbness in your butt.

Because you'll be spending all your time on the crapper.

Glitch, do those Diablos have the dual compound, hard in the center, soft on the sides? I don't recall.
If not, and if you do a lot of commuting, you might be interested in the Brigestone BT-021. I have them on my bike. They seem to be just as effective as the Diablos that I had previously, as far as cornering and turn in.
I am hoping that the center will last longer since it is a harder compound.

I'd love to head down there right now but I just got the trailer out of the snow pile and with all the ice on the drive I'd have a hard time getting the bikes out of the garage.

I did start the list for everything I need to bring. #1-motorcycle
