Congratulations to Badweb, Only for you guys I'd never have attended the 20th Anniversary back in 2003 where I met many nice people. THEN, a handful of those came to visit Newfoundland in 2004. THEN, I got a nutty Scotsman who resides in France, his lovely wife and son back in March of 2007. They stayed in my summer cottage while visiting. I can't wait for the 25th in 2008. | ||

Ferris, I remember that e-mail too. It was right after you convinced me I needed a fuggen computer to ride my bike.  I have somewhere a whole box of e-mails when BadWeB was an e-mail group. I hated looking at a screen so I printed the e-mails and read them later. Then came the website, meeting you, Court, Erik, all the Team Elves and all the other folks I've met here. Congratulations BadWeb! and Thank You BadWeb! This forum has probably been responsible for causing the decisions that have made many Buellers of people who would have otherwise gone somewhere else. And it is definitely the cause of many Buellers staying on board given the remedies that the dealer network's short comings could not have provided. Left to struggle on one's own with a malady of small problems, the Uly would likely have been gone from my possession a long time ago. It has been the friendships, comradeship, mutual help here, on this BadWeb, that has made me a proud Uly owner! This is the most awesome bike ever made that fits my prescription for such. This web site has made me a better owner through the sharing of knowledge and insight, which has also allowed us to help train the dealers about what to do when warranty issues do come up. Team work has made problems and issues into little nothings once explained and understood. Again, thank you Blake and BadWeb. From a proud Ulysses owner. | ||

As a relative newcomer, I still stand in awe of the value of this repository to Buell owners. Yeah,what JB2 said. I hold you lot responsible for my BAD habits!! What a great place it has been and continues to be. On that note,I have bike back from fabricators and it is looking wicked,will get pics when I am not at work. All of turbo,FI, intercooler,exhaust,wastegate and such are done. Now need to fab a crank sensor to fire FI----all I can say is WOW!! | ||

Happy Birthday Badweb! I still remember looking for a replacement for my 1991 Yamaha Radian. I wanted a naked standard, and pickings were lousy... a ZR-7, a nighthawk, or an SV-650. All nice bikes, but all (IMHO) way over priced for what you get. But whats this? In Cycle Trader. A 2000 Buell M2 Cyclone, with 5000 miles on it, for $5000? This was 2001... that was a really good deal. I knew a little about Buell, but not much. So I start digging. Interestingly, I was a member of a great mailing list for the Yamaha, and made some great freindships there. So I was shopping for a community as much as I was shopping for a bike, and this was another area where the ZR7 / Nighthawk / SV-650 were coming up SORELY lacking. So I read, and find badweb, and start the research in earnest. Slam *freaking* dunk, and I pick up the M2 a week later. Come for the bikes, stay for the people (and you can keep buying the bikes if you want)... | ||
