Anyone know if there's anyone in the U.S. that sells Airoh helmets? I want a TR1 bad... International shipping makes it hard to justify the cost... |

Seems I remember a few threads on them. Search for Airoh... see what the others have come up with already. Importing your own is gonna make it too pricey - for sure! |

Yeah, that's about all I came across as well. Looks like if I want to play I'll have to pay. Not sure how I feel about spending $340 on a plastic helmet I can't even try on first... |

You can always send the factory an email. They can certainly translate your English to Italian: info@airoh.com |

I just got a TR1 in matt black from these guys from Italy on ebay. It was 175.00 Euros total (149.50 + 25.50 for shipping) which converted to $265.37 USD. The shipped it via mail service and it took about 7 business days to arrive here in FL. Cool helmet. I did some reading up on them and they appear to run small in size, so I got an XL (I wear a large in AGV & HJC). Nice helmet and very light weight. It is not DOT rated however. |

Yeah, the fact that it isn't DOT doesn't bug me, but the fact that the front piece won't do much for me in the event of a crash does... I think I'll keep looking around, but that italian ebay link is pretty inviting, lol |

the fact that the front piece won't do much for me in the event of a crash does I agree. Although, I think it would hold up as well as the modular chin bar on my AGV Longway. I would guess that it would pop open if it took a direct hit. |
