Seller has an eBay shop, looks like he's making them himself... Cool items, but is that copyright infringement? |

If the pegasus timer cover is no longer available, what's the problem with the dude doing Buell riders a favor and "making them available". H-D/Buell would go after this guy and spend more money......... than if they just fired up the tooling and made them again. Who' the victim? Dust to dust,H-D/Buell isn't losing any money if they are NOT making them..........BUT they would be losing money if the were making them and this dude was also selling them. |

I agree with Zip. I feel the same about unused wives. I know a few here at work and some more in the neighborhood! |

I feel the same about unused wives. I know a few here at work and some more in the neighborhood! I know how you feel, I live in Mission Viejo, friggin' MILF City, USA. Oh, and the timer covers are cool, if he makes them, good on him. As long as he keeps his wife in the kitchen, away from where I can get at her! |

Some guidelines furnished by our legal department (written by a lawyer, YMMV) and again, single use, personal use, stuff like that isn't gonna get the lawyers hearts all a-flutter (a Pegasus tattoo won't be reposessed) - I'm just tossing it out here for entertainment value: Intellectual Property: Trademarks General Description Trademarks function to identify the source of goods and services to the consuming public. Trademark law protects both an owner's interest in policing its reputation from association with inferior goods and the right of the public to be free of confusion and mistake as to the origin of the goods or services. Ownership of a mark secures exclusive rights to use the mark to distinguish one manufacturer's, merchant's or service provider's goods or services from those of others. A mark is not the name of a product or service. Marks identify and distinguish a product or service from similar products or services. Accordingly, marks must always be used as adjectives modifying the common name of a product or service. Use of a mark as a noun can result in loss of the mark. A trademark is usually a word or group of words, but can consist of any device that serves to distinguish goods or services. Designs, color patterns, scents, and packaging are all potential marks. Rights to trademarks and service marks arise even if the mark is not registered with a state or federal government and such rights are perpetual subject to continued use and certain post-registration filing requirements, if registered. For detailed information on trademarks, visit the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. http://www.uspto.gov/main/trademarks.htm |

I just grabbed a blinker cover from a Heritage Softail and made it work, It is the same size. The come in Orange, clear or smoked and are cheap quick mods.
