Got on board my Uly for the first time in almost 2 months today - just had a rich vein of test bikes lately. So I did some running around and had to post a DVD to France. They are doing a reprint of a book I designed about a WWI Kiwi Soldier and his diary. Fascinating pics. The high res .pdfs are on my site here http://homepage.mac.com/WebObjects/FileSharing.woa /wa/default?user=david_cohen_design&templatefn=Fil eSharing54.html&xmlfn=TKDocument.54.xml&sitefn=Roo tSite.xml&aff=consumer&cty=US&lang=en or there are some low res jpegs here http://homepage.mac.com/david_cohen_design/Sites/a rchie_web/index.htm anyhoooo I got down to the post office via t intesection is ellerslie and went to drop into the traffic and gave it a Harley handful like I've been doing for the past 3 weeks - and pulled a quite unintentional off balance wheelie up the main street. I luffs mah Buell! |

Some interesting pics there Dave. My late Grandfather on my dads side was a tank commander in WW1, I've still got a 6lb shell case with the tank corps crest engraved on it. |

Archie took a heap of photos on glass plate. I scanned and repaired a lot of the pics in photoshop, quite fascinating detail. Sure glad it wasn't me. |

Nice collection of pics. It is very interesting to see the filed artillery technology in use at the time. And the pic of the field hospital looked like it would be a 50/50 proposition whether you'd get out of there alive (even if you went in healthy). Thanks for sharing |
