Xb9, I had brought my envelope with me and wanted to thank you in person, but no one could find you. Thanks! Badlions, it's about time they did something with the 250.. (Message edited by Thumper74 on January 28, 2008) |

it is sweet, but no way in hell am i buying her a brand new bike. ran into an acquaintance at the show that has an 04 (i think) 250r for $1500. it's been low speed dropped, but mechanically sound. i think it'll be a good starter bike for her, if i were to get her a new one she'd be paranoid about dropping it. i really wanted to steer her into the blast, but she wasn't diggin the lower seat. |

Ehh...go for the less expensive bike. If she doesn't like it, you could recoup your losses. |

Rde, notice the buells she is sitting on. the buell was just too low for her liking (she's every bit of 5'10"). money isn't much of an issue, as a dealer around here has a few used blasts for 2k. i just want to get her something she is comfortable on. thumper, that's right. i'm gonna pick up the bike before she even takes the course, knowing i can turn it if she doesn't like riding or whatever. she will be a bueller tho when she's ready to step up. i mentioned getting an 1125r or the "S" version if and when it comes out, and she has already decided that my cityx will be hers if that happens.
