Author Message   Fuscat Posted on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 - 03:14 pm:        Hey guys I am trying to find a rather large outline of sorts of the Buell logo, pegasus logo, and Buell American Motorcycles fonts like on the tuber tank stickers. It needs to be fairly clear so I can trace it onto vinyl. I know these are copyrighted trademarks but I just simply cannot find what I am looking for on the market. I want these so I can go and buy sheeted vinyl sticker material to make a sticker for the rear window of my truck. I used to have one on my last truck. I got it from a guy on ebay and it was outstanding. nice and big and after 2 years the sticker never once wore, faded, or tore. Now I can't find the guy so I figured I would make my own. I just cant find anything to take my design from. I really want it to be just like the old tank stickers with a pegasus emblem undernieth it. It just needs to be pretty good sized. Anybody have anything like this? I hate that I can go into the Harley shop and right their on the accessories rack is a huge "rear window decal" of the harley logo. I want to represent Buell even when I'm not on my bike!   Turnagain Posted on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 - 04:36 pm:        You'd think they'd want to produce and sell stickers, pins, etc.... They probably do, but they're tucked away in the back of some marketing room somewhere. Do you have a scanner? There is all sorts of logos in the owner's manuals, service manuals, and brochures. I got a couple that I think I can make work! It seams like I can never get the text to blow up to the sizes I'm thinking with out it getting blurry and very hard to get a precise cut out of. TIA Dutchie   Chainsaw Posted on Thursday, July 17, 2003 - 08:56 am:        hit me with an email at pduffey@signmaker.com and I'll send all interested parties the buell and pegasus logos in an Adobe Illustrator format. It's vector art and is scaleable without any loss of resolution (that means big letters wont be blurry). Any competant sign shop can make you decals from the files. I actually had a ton of them (a lady that was in a class I tought when I bought my Blast worked for a company that produced the Firebolt decals (all of them) and the X1W decals. She gave me a bunch of the 'rejects'. I plastered my Dakota in them and have only put a white tank-style on my Ram. I still have an orange letter, black 'American Motorcycles' tank sticker.   Fuscat Posted on Thursday, July 17, 2003 - 12:20 pm:        Excellent guys! I see a nice looking buell decal or possibly paint on chainsaw's firebolt!
