Fantastic! This is going to sound like an odd question Dave, but did you do a photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition back around 1985 or so? |

>>How did you like the big Triumph? << A lot, it's a remarkably nimble bike for such a supertanker. Nailing one in 3rd gear is a thang of rare beauty. |

DD how did you like R1200S? I really want to ride one. The HP2 is supposed to a nice ride also. |

I described it as 'delightful riding'. It is a simply delightful bike. The front end works, buckets of power and torque. Just yum. Ergonomics are sports, but you know that before you get on the bike. The HP2 is now my second favourite bike ever. Magnificent machine - as happy pootling along at the speed limit as it is going balls out. Pay it the ultimate compliment and say it handles as well as my Buell. And it only costs 30% more When I took it back the chicken strips on the rear were on the wall of the tyre. I LOVED riding the R1200S. I was able to get a factory test ride on one a few months before the dealers even had them, and the bike was just easy to fall in love with. Lots of get up and go, handles those sweepers just perfectly. The price tag was a bit high, though. Magnificent bike none the less. Obviously, we all know where my money went. Dave, your photographic eye never ceases to impress me. I really should get the camera out for more than taking drunken pictures of friends at the bar, lol. |
