I can understand the fuel injection so long as they still use points for the ignition. |

Nope, electronic ignition. But kickstarting is still an option. That's progress, classically speaking. |

Norm, did you ever get a RE? - Corporatemonkey No, not yet anyway. I had a very pleasant, albeit cold, XB9S ride yesterday around Seattle and parts south. My shoulder and neck still bother me. But it is getting better, slowly. The XB is such a joy to ride. The 9 has plenty of power for this old boy. The RE still looks cool and the new motor seems promising. But for me its not ready for prime time now. |

They have a classic style, nice availability of custom & factory direct parts, resale hurts, but that lil military version with some knobbies would be perfect for RV camping and forest service road running (yes I would do that to that bike too)
