I just had a quick question. The other day one of my coworkers thought it would be funny to disconect my spark plug boot so my bike wouldn't start. I figured it out after about 5 minutes, but i was just wondering if the boot was disconected but still sitting on the plug and was able to make a spark, what would have happend when I hit the freeway and the boot came all the way off. Would that cause the engine, trans, and rear tire to lock up or would the bike just quit running. Just asking, because I am still debating if I should laugh it off as a good prank (he rides also) or call him out on it. I have a 75 mile commute from work, all freeway and I would never mess with someone else's bike. |

You would have been left with a bike that acted like your turned the key off or shut off the throttle --just slowed down,no lock up. But I would issue a no nonsense warning about the consequences of touching your bike again. |

That's what I figured, still no fun on the freeway, especially due to having only one cylinder. I have been going back and forth about letting management know about someone messing with my vehicle. Also another coworker told me it is on video tape. I am just really mad because I asked around to see who it was and he totaly denied it. |

pull him aside, tell him you understand it was just a prank, but you dont want anyone touching anything of yours without asking, especially a bike. And if he touches it again, you will ....... A. Kick his ass within an inch of his life B. Tell your boss/management c. Kill him D. Run his bike over with your truck and laugh Take your pick, i recommend option "A", But im not you and wont get in trouble. lol, so im gonna have to tell ya to go with option "B"..... I just talked with my regular partner who is working with this guy today and he said that it was mentioned. I also saw the video and it is crystal clear, so I think i am just going to call him out on it and get him back with a prank next shift we work together. Maybe I just overreacted a little because I am a paramedic and have seen plenty of riders die over the years. I guess I was just disapointed that he rides dirtbikes and knows what can happen. Heck I was the one who had to take care of him when he nearly amputated an arm after a crash 2 years ago. If he admits to it, I'll just prank him back (nothing dangerous). |
