Anybody know of a undertail storage trunk for the M2? I have seen them for other sport bikes, thinking that one would fit nicely under my M2. I'm just trying to figure out where I could possibly store a couple simple tools, a rag and my flask. Chris |

Don't know nuthin' 'bout under seat storage, but the space behind the bug screen is a good place to stuff a tool bag. |

I've got an auxilliary light relay and electrical terminal block behind my flyscreen, got no room there for tools. (Well, I would if I hadn't stuffed it full of wires and such.) |

Doesn't somebody make a hinged system for the flyscreen? I remember seeing something being sold on ebay that would allow for the flyscreen to be hinged and possible storage area being created. |

To anyone with a hinged flyscreen, Have there been any problems with the hinged flyscreen? |

Hinging the screen is smart. Could probably fabricate your own though. |

I have the yodude flytrap, for probably two years now. Igot it off ebay for $15. Never a lick of trouble with it, and the the installation instructions were a riot. It did not even pop open on a 15mph low side. |

BTW, on my 2kM2, I just leave a big tank bag on the tail turned around. Some caribiners on those nylon straps under the seat, and some minor rearranging of the tank bag straps (with clips), and some minor holes in that black plastic tail section, and it all hooks up fine. The setup is pretty obvious, if anyone wants details I can shoot some pictures, it works great, and has all the advantages of a tank bag (cheap, zips off, carry handle). I think it looks better on the bike then a tank bag as well, and does not cover the fuel tank. |
