One of the largest motorcycle gatherings in the country - AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio and Buell is nowhere to be found. Demo rides for Triumph, Ducati, KTM, Kawasaki and Harley (To be fair, I did see a Uly or two thrown in with the Harleys). Static displays for other manufacturers. Hey, I'm no rocket scientist but I am sleeping in a Holiday Inn Express tonight, however; one would think Buell with it's fresh bike to sell would be interested in showing up for +50k people. | ||

I think they're at Laguna showing to WAY more than 50K people ;). | ||

When I heard from a buddy running the Guzzi demos that Buell wasnt there, I decided to stay home and wrench on toys. Disappointed. | ||

They were at California Harley today doing demos. Laguna was last week. | ||

Dont look at me, I tried to get one to compete up with the BMW, Triumph, Ducati, Aprilia and KTM trucks that will be at Sportbike/Dualsport NW in LATE August. No dice, I was told Laguna was the reason. (how long does that event last? all month?) | ||
