Sorry if I missed the boat on this one, but is Buell still coming out with a Dirtbike or was that just to hide the coming of the 1125r? |

My understanding was that the dirt bike(s) would be out in the next few years, not a definite for '08. |

That's not a Buell image, just so no one is confused. That's just somebody's guess. |

Would look better as a super-motard street version. Not to mention that the SM market will be and has been exploding for the last couple of years w/ no signs of slowing down soon. |

I'll let him slide this one time with the understanding that we want to hear what Little Birds are saying (as long as it's a reliable little bird) but must never post opinions as Anonymous. His Anonymous post should have been the facts, and the opinion part should have been himself. Make sense? |

No, the dirt bike was not a smoke screen to hide the 1125R. I have said this before and I will say it again, for Buell to carve out more of the Exotic Bike Market they must offer a product lineup that competes with the other guys. I do, however, believe that the early announcement of the the dirt bike helped to keep the 1125R secret longer. I think that Buell did it the right way. Just my humble opinion. BudC |

its a rope a dope, show em the left, left, left and then nail them with the right. Now where is that lead pic of the dirt bike that was SHOWN at the winter dealer meeting? Somebody has it. Somebody should show it. I understand it is an artists conception. But I have cleared a spot in my garage for a new bike, it will either be the Buell Dirt bike, or a trip to Europe to get the XR1200. Help a guy out and keep me domestic ;) |

I do, however, believe that the early announcement of the the dirt bike helped to keep the 1125R secret longer. Yeah, they kept a lid on it...for the most part. Now where is that lead pic of the dirt bike that was SHOWN at the winter dealer meeting? Sweet looking I must say. There's a picture of the picture floating around here somewhere. I'm thinking the 1125R will just have to go to those that gotta have it, I may wait a year or so. Just look at the difference between the 03XB and the 08 XB! I may not be able to be so patient with the dirtbike. I was already in the market when they made the first announcement. I'm wanting a supermoto in a bad way. Although if they're right about the 190lb dry weight, they maybe talking about a 150cc, and not the 450cc I have in mind. |

Cycle world said that you should have at least 5 bikes in the garage. 1 Fast performance bike 2 Antique Classic 3 Touring 4 Around town hooligan 5 Dirt bike. Making the CityX do 1,3,&5 And the sportster do 2 & 4 But it would be nice to get a lighter faster dirt squirter |

1. Not one of my must haves. 2. One day a 1940's era H-D will be mine. 3. Sold my softail. Geezer glides are nice, but not on my list. 4. Two is one, one is none! 2nd bike on order!!! 5. No place to really ride dirt (read SAND) aroud here anyways. My XB12R and S1W will just have to handle ALL the duties (cept for dirt). Miles of smiles!! |

I was a paycheck away from putting a S1W in my garage, and it would have had to have had some aggressive knobbies on it just to spice things up. My coworker sniped me on it, then sold it, now a friend has it... and he is eying the 1125R Maybe it will come back to me. (IF his brother doesnt buy it) Passed around more than a special teams drill during football |
