Ever had one of those days... Get up and step on Matchbox car that one of the twins left for you to play with...Get in the shower and the hot water runs out because the pilot light is out on H2O heater...You are lacing up your boots for the ride to work and both laces snap...After a nice ride to work you walk into the work area and half of the 18 females you work with have started the monthly cycle...And the traumas from the ER stack up like cord wood...But finally the work day is over and you call home and tell the wife that you are going to take the long way home and she says hurry home because the refridgerator just crapped out and your response is "I am taking the REALLY long way home"... You get on your Reactor Yellow M2 and work your way thru traffic to your favorite twistie road only to pull up behind 1979 Ford LTD being driven by nothing but a blue haired bun and two hands on the steering wheel...You pass...and then it happens...things melt away...the road gets a little straighter in spots...little twistier in others...and the stress of the day blows away as you effortlessly work your way thru the gears and turns... a normally hour ride seems to go by WAY to fast...but when you get home and the little guy that left you the Matchbox car at the start of the day to play with is waiting for you(with his twin brother) to give you hugs...nothing else matters! It has been a great day!! Happy Buelling!! Michael

I don't have kids yet but I have a cool little dog named Palooka who doesn't leave toy cars around to step on, just the occasional turd.

He's ALWAYS waiting for me at the door.

no kids, no wife, now M2, But I swear that blue hair in the LTD gets around. Either that or she has a sister out my way. Why is it that they always drive the big land yaghts? When I get old, its a lil Miata and Buell for me.

Different and varied issues, but the same kind of days, just a regular thing. The youngun and the hug help you remember why you keep fighting it. Have to substitute BadWeB for the riding, some days good, some days better, never as good as riding though.
But the main thing is, as long as you realize, no matter what, it was still a good day, you've got it whupped.

When I have a day like that, I like to think of these pics, taken when my son decided to help me work on the bike. He just grabbed a wrench and jumped in

My Grandpa always used to say "Don't sweat the small stuff and 99% of it is small stuff." Chopped58, did he get the brakes changed and those bearings repacked?
