Borrowing a buddys Duc for a couple of weeks and want to try to tune it up, its running a little rough, idle isn't steady, under powered under acceleration , just not running good. Beings he isnt very mechanicly inclined I would like to try to get it running a little better. So the question is any tricks to pulling the carbs off and cleaning them, I can pull my klein of the S1 with confidence, are the makunies on the duc the same layout, similar to makunies on dirtbikes, snowmobiles? anybody with experiance on a 1999 duc 750 dark please chime in Thanks, Tod |

I am sure there are a few Duc lovers here on the Badweb that will answer the question but you might also want to try asking over at: Ducati Monster List. http://www.ducatimonster.org/ Cheers |
