Ok, check this out people.... Here is a little bit of unofficial Buell history up for auction. It's the 1996 Buell S2 Thunderbolt frame of the infamous BLURR that Ferris Bueller himself rode for 70 thousand plus miles back in the days before BadWeB and in the day's of PACBOG. (I'm sure many of you remember those days, I sure do!) If this frame could talk, oh man, the stories it could tell. This frame when it was the whole motorcycle was the first Buell I had seen back in 1996 and with its rider, convinced me to buy my first Buell one week later. This frame deserves a good home and will make a great long-term project resurrecting her back into the blue groove, corner carver she once was. There were only 2147 S2 Thunderbolts made in '95 and '96, so don't pass this one up! The frame has a good, clear title and is in excellent shape. Winning bidder will be responsible for shipping cost from California. More pix available upon request.
This auction ends next Monday May 21, 2007 at 10 p.m. BadWeB (Eastern) time, but will continue beyond that time if there is bid activity within one hour of auction end. Once there is one hour of inactivity at any time after 10 p.m. May 21, the auction will be considered over. NOTE: The winning bidder is responsible for shipping charges from Bakersfield, California, USA. Good luck, bid often, and remember: This is for Matt Ware and his family. |

Gads. . . every mile I put on my mondo truck is a strike against me getting this frame as I line the pockets of the Texas Oil Barons intent on crushing the New Yawkers . . . I'm basically outbidding myself. .. life's not fair! $275.00 P.S. - In your honor I bought gas today . . on the national "GAS OUT". |

If any of you history buffs want to restore that frame to its former glory, then you'd better outbid me! If it lands in my hands, it's getting an M2 drivetrain, an S1 tail, and an XB front end. $300 |

wow, i can't wait 'til you Ford and Chevy lovers start bidding big blocks! you rock!! Alex, thx for the pix down memory lane! be advised that Alex's pic three above is not the BLURR, but another pearl white S2 and rider i used to hang with. (photo taken FROM the BLURR, however, at speed on Interstate 5 in Olympia, Washington. i'm a strained professional - don't try this at home.) pic four in Alex's post is not the BLURR, either. it was taken during a very early PACBOG ride put together by JB2 (second from left in the photo). i'll post up a couple of BLURR pix sometime today. in the meantime, keep on bidding!!!
