 who wants the very FIRST "Matt Ware Rides With Me" patch, numbered and signed by our very own Alex Prior? the "regular" patches are $10, with all net proceeds going to Matt's trust fund. the very FIRST patch, however, numbered and signed by Alex to verify its authenticity, is gonna cost ya a little bit more... let the bids begin. Can anyone tell me if an ending time has been set for this patch? Just asking because I'm out of town and won't get back until midnight Monday. Having a hell of a time getting on the puter and don't want to lose track. | ||

This is from John, at http://www.silverbrook-mn.com/ regarding the very first Matt Ware Rides with Me patch: I really like your idea for the number 1 patch!!! Your request can only be considered to be odd in that it is the only such request i have had. I think it is a TERRIFIC idea, and of course am more than happy to do my part for it. In addition to the letter, would you think it is a good idea if i put a small 001 on the bottom of the sample patch only? There would be no number of course on the 100 patches, only on the first sample piece. It might make that patch more special (and valuable) if the people can recognize it as being the first one! After all, they won't be wearing the paper we send along with it. So there you have it. Not only do you get THE first patch, you also get the ONLY patch to be numbered and the first of the run to boot (wish we'd have thought of this all for the RANE ride, and I might still try to get that first patch from John). Is that cool or what | ||
