I'm going to take a group from Columbus Ohio if anybody wants to go with us here is the info. ROLLING THUNDER Leave from the Floretine parking lot at 907 W.Broad St. At 8 A.M. on May 24th Come early for breakfast at Tommy’s Diner Have a FULL tank of gas! Empty Bladder! Positive Attitude! Reservations can be made at the Holiday Inn Select 4335 Chantilly Shopping Center Chantilly, VA 20151 703-815-6060 The first stop will be in Belpre Ohio for gas and to put helmets on. Lunch will be provided in Harrisville WV. We are taking Route 50 to Chantilly which can be a very challenging road. Please be prepared for RAIN! IT WILL RAIN! There is no organized ride back to Columbus, so take the time to plan your ride home. Good Luck and have Fun! I did Run For the Wall LA-DC last year but not going this year.  Rain? Last year we swung up your way to come back and ran into our worst storm in Ohio. Lightning, thunder, rain, BIG hail, and wind so strong it knocked us down and pushed a Goldwing off its stand and sent it riderless rolling down the freeway as fast as we could run after it. We thought it was a tornado!  I had a great time!  |
