I am writing this as a Buell fanatic. I went to my local HD... I mean Buell store in Lancaster, PA. They'd rearranged their Buell stuff and added some new clothing. On top was this hat:
Much to my surprise they had it for $10 no tax. They had several there! Where else can you get a hat that good looking and cheap that is not on sale!?! I told my wife that Buell folks are not like your average HD person. Most are frugal and find it hard to part with a $20 for a hat. Buell merchandise needs to be priced "right" to be sold to us folks. This one did the trick for me. Let me hop on my soap box: DEALERS--Price your merchandise "right" and you'll sell every last piece to Buell folks. It was funny how a Buell shirt in Alaska cost $20 while in other places in the lower states they wanted $30. Catch my drift? I now regress. Wish you all the best riding and styling. |

T9R, I bought one of those at my dealer a few months back. Nice looking hat, but it has an elastic band rather than an adjustable one. With my big head, it gives me a splitting headache after about 30 minutes. I'm working on modifications (like any true Bueller would) to deal with this. Mods to the hat- not my head! |

They are nice. I actually have two. One for everyday and one for weddings, funerals, wild sex orgies, etc. |

There is a nice change. I was looking at a $35 Buell T-shirt at my dealer the other day! |

My local HD shop used to have a tiny Buell rack with about 4 things on it. It has since dissapeared. |

Dang! I was in New Holland, PA with the wife's family this last weekend. It was my birthday weekend and I wanted to go down to Lancaster Buell to look around. Never made it what with the plans made for me by the family get-togethers. But my wife did get me an Anchorage Buell t-shirt for my b-day via mail order. We were there on our honeymoon in July 05.... Alaska, not just the dealership. I'm definitely hitting Lancaster next time up! BTW, I'm from TN and call it LAN-caster and not Lank-ister as the natives say it. |

It's Lan-caster (as in Burt) if you're from Cal or anywhere else. But it's definately Lank-ister if you are a yonie (pronouned with a long 'o'). Now ask a local what a yonie is!!! Bret |
