RT,

If you are planning to come to Homecoming I'll have to have You and Bomber give "The Knot" a try. The smoothest Irish Whiskey ya ever had. Its sold in 3 states at this time and only in taverns and restaurants at this time. I carry it in the bar and its a huge, huge hit. 100 proof so it does have a kick though.

Whiskey properly srrives from but one nation -- Ireland produces outstanding poets, beautiful womens, fearsome warriors, decent rock n roll bands, tubers galore, and the bestest stout in the universe, known or otherwise

of course, purely in the spirit of science and research, mind you, I am happy to lend my finely-tuned palate to a test-a-thon

"the one with the mustache who could fart on command."
Did not really narrow it down much, seems we have a few mustaches in that group, and don't really think you guys have that much more mileage than me but if you want to claim "elder rights" be my guest.
" 2 bottles of scotch and a case of beer"--that's just an appetizer!

RT and Bomber, how goes the FMJ parts transplants?I am eagerly awaiting a large truck and shipping case---

FMJ -- transplants are pretty much done, on my part -- awaiting other parts (dueto brain fade on my part and by a vendor or two)

only problem is, I live about 1.2 miles from the closest Fire House -- local ordinance requires emergency equipment to run lights only for the first mile, then lights and sirens are allowed. This means, of course, that the equipment fires up it's sirens at the end of my driveway 6-8 times a day (old folks home couple of miles down the street, and when they roll the EMT truck, the engine goes with)

every time the truck goes by, the cyclinders lurch a little closer to the door -- responding to the siren, perhaps?

n.b. the presence of the old folks home down the street is of great comfort when you and RT come to visit

The Okra Cola reminds me of an old story where a a moocher in a bar has been pestering the bartender for a free beer; finally the bartender relents and tells the moocher that if he'll take a sip from the spittoon, he'll give him a beer on the house.

The moocher grimaces but tentatively picks up the spittoon, looks into it, sniffs it, sloshes it around a bit and sure enough begins to take the most ginger of sips, but much to the bewilderment and disgust of all observing the mjoocher doesn't stop at a sip, and is soon heartily gulping the entire contents.

When asked why on Earth he consumed the entire contents of the spittoon, the moocher confessed that "I had to; it was all one long string."

I imagine Okra Cola would be much the same.

If I'm to teach the little uber-liberals politics, I'll need my own hefty supply of scotch and beer.

Court,

Sure I know what I'm doing. I guess you could say I'm kinda like a ice cream man of Liquor's except I have a ton more flavors then 31.

FMJ: Transplant is complete, I actually rode the thing a couple of weekends ago--it's very entertaining, feels real strong. You were right about the noise from the valve gear, but the exhaust bark pretty much cancels it out!

I'm painting the bodywork this weekend, should have it all back together next weekend. I'm hoping to see Bomber down here the weekend after that, so he'll need something to ride...
