I'm sorry Tramp, I forgot to scan those pages and send em to ya!

I will have em sent out to ya at about 5 or 6 pm.

As for capacity I usually put a pint in. You are supposed to measure from the top of the fork tube to the fluids surface and I foget what that number is...

Dry capacity is 15.96 ounces / 472cc. The level should be 4.25" / 108mm, with a minimum of 4.92" / 125mm and a maximum of 3.15" / 80mm. The manual lists Type E fork oil, HD-99884-80, but a good 7 weight should do it.

Tramp -- Zen has the specs dead on -- I'm a bit, er, ehem, larger than the design spec rider, and I ran 7.5 or 8wt oil in M2 forks -- seemed better to me

larger, in this case, is defined as approx 210 fully geared up

I did an oil change just recently. While the caps were off, I made preload spacers 9/16" longer than stock to get the front sag in the right range for my 185lb wet weight (the adjusters were maxed out, before - sag should be 1" to 1 1/2"). I ran the oil 4" from the top to increase compression damping - in hindsight, I would have added a little more, but I only had two 16oz containers of the fork oil.

I love this place.... several response after a couple hours!
Spides- NO worries at all, I don't even remember disussing having pages sent- I'm fine with simple capacity specs, I tend to be a low-tech maintenance guy.
I'm seriously excited to ride my scoot with increased steering capacity!

Seems to be a big difference between "dry" and "refill" capacities. I finished doing my M2L forks a few minutes ago, and used about 13 ounces per leg to get it to the right level. Also discovered that the factory put one of the upper springs seats in upside down. Now on to adjustments...
