Does anyone have any experience with Oberon? I ordered some mirrors from them and have sent numerous emails asking when the mirrors would ship, but never get a reply back. I`m starting to get nervous, because I used my credit card. |

call your credit card support line and talk to someone about it. They'll check for any unusual activity. If you are really worried tell them to cancel that number and send you a new card. |

I've met Oberon people several times, and bought several of their products. I'm sure they are not in the business of ripping people off. I can't speak of their email activity, or seemingly lack of it, but what does it cost to make an international phone call for want of peace of mind? From Oberon's website....... Credit Card Security ALL ORDERS WILL REQUIRE CONFORMATION TO AN EMAIL SENT FROM OBERON, REQUESTING ADDITIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All purchase order details are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. I did receive an email, but it`s only an order number with what I ordered. I live in Japan and calling the UK is bit tricky if not expensive (I don`t have a home phone) I guess I will have to call them and find out what is going on. |

I just got some oberon signals. I got them in the states in about a week. No muss, no fuss. How long have you been waiting, you didn't mention that? |

I ordered them on 2/3/2007. That`s almost 2 weeks and I`ve sent them numerous emails admin@oberon-performance.co.uk but never get a response. Maybe they aren`t receiving them. |

Post me some info, either here or at seanpepper at gmail dot com, and I'll call them for you. They really are a very helpful bunch of people so I wouldn't worry. Rocket |

I called them after I got off work. Apparently my CC didn't go through. I just wish they would have notified that something was wrong. I tried to send them some money by international money order, but was told that it would add 30 pounds to the order. Anyway I told them that I would look into why the CC didn't go through and make an order as soon as I could things in order. Thanks for everyones help |

British banks are notorious for adding additional costs. An IMO would cost £30 to process at many high street banks. I just bought some stuff myself from Sweden. The only way I could get money to the Swedish company was via a bank SWIFT transfer. Despite the system set up for the easy and simple transfer of money between European countries, it was a three separate day trips to the bank nightmare to get it sorted, and it cost me £20 in bank fees. I hate dealing with banks too. In this age of paperless money you would think it would be far cheaper to send money overseas. Motonation who sells Spidi in the US would only accept a bank transfer to send something overseas, but the costs are outrageous. So I decided to buy Dainese locally. I have a Japanese CC, but a lot of companies won`t accept overseas cards. I guess there are just too many corrupt people making life for everyone else. |
